Over the past two decades, my career has been a dynamic and transformative journey. I’ve embraced change, seeking growth and innovation at every opportunity. Pioneering digital lending initiatives and driving transformative changes within organizations have been my hallmarks. Each role has been about making a difference, solving new puzzles, and seizing opportunities to innovate. I firmly believe in the power of first-principle thinking—breaking down complex problems into their fundamental elements and rebuilding solutions from the ground. This approach has been crucial in my work, whether pioneering digital lending solutions or leading organizational transformations. By questioning existing assumptions and focusing on core principles, I’ve been able to develop innovative solutions that address fundamental needs rather than just surface-level issues. With over 23 years in lending across banks, NBFCs, and the fintech industry, I've carved out a career as a CXO and leader. My focus has been on building digital-first organizations, leading transformations, and defining and executing strategies. As the Head of Retail Assets & CXO at Poonawalla Fincorp, I've had the opportunity to manage sales across various channels, oversee products, forge partnerships, streamline operations, enhance customer service, and work closely with diverse teams. My journey has been all about driving growth, managing transformations, and tackling strategic challenges head-on. I've also embraced entrepreneurship, being a founding member with experience in setting up products, processes, and businesses from scratch. I'm a certified OKR practitioner with a strong background in risk, sales, product, operations, alliances, digital, analytics, branding, public relations, and people management. My passion lies in creating value for customers, stakeholders, and employees through innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Lessons from the Field
Outdoor sports have been a significant part of my life. Whether playing or watching, sports have taught me lessons that go beyond the field—awareness, teamwork, and strategic risk-taking. These experiences have deeply influenced my approach to business. They have made me a better leader, a better team player, and someone who is not afraid to take calculated risks. They’ve taught me to look at the bigger picture while understanding the intricacies of each situation.
